Don't evade the swear filter, also please don't use text speak. A should be able to do around I'm not saying you or the engine will like it at that speed though. Will be bloody loud. Please don't use text speak. I had my off the clock and its got a speedo in it on a private road. Although their were a few things I should add to that.

You can just use offset keys with a non-adjustable setup to get the same results if you're on a budget.

My first engine was a with a few mods Mg metro head with pocketed block Swiftune sw5 cam Minispares stage one kit. It was faster than most tuned minis but lacked the legs for most trackdays so it now it has a turbo, bannanas and 87 curlies at 7psi all I did was lower the compression the rest of the engine is the same spec.

But more boost is to come in the spring along with a new turbo to replace the huge old t3. Get a shorter final drive, will lower your top speed, but make it accelerate faster. And get it as light as possible. Or put an k on it. Nothing below the head makes power? Maybe not directly Better bottom end means you can get more power out of it though.

I don't know about the necessity of forged, but definitely having work done is worth it, if you're looking for high figures. Board index FAQ. RE: stage 1 mini by panelbeaterpeter » Thu 29th Dec , pm A standard should reach 80, not sure about with a stg1 kit tho, I'd like to know as well. RE: stage 1 mini by racinggreen » Thu 29th Dec , pm ive had mine doing 75 with 3 "large"peeps in and mines got a blowing manifold and k on the clock.

RE: stage 1 mini by themaninthesuitcase » Thu 29th Dec , pm my made 92 calculated from revs with the aid of a big hill, but one there it stayed there well enough. RE: stage 1 mini by myminithirty » Thu 29th Dec , pm A stage 1 kit will not make the car go faster - it will make it get to its top speed quicker - I thought the only way it will go faster is to fit a bigger engine although I might be wrong I fitted a Maniflow s1 kit to Bertie and he now goes like the clappers.

RE: stage 1 mini by multivocalism » Thu 29th Dec , pm that may be so but im not debating the benifits of a stage 1 kit i just wondered top speeds as i havent been able to test mine out.

RE: stage 1 mini by delmonte » Thu 29th Dec , pm i got my standard upto 85 with a big lard ass passenger on some nice straight roman roads so i reckon with a stage one and enough space you could probably get about ish, but as Coedy says, it doesnt exactly feel safe lol. Roger, you're supposed to be on my side! Edit: Obviously a very open ended question. Edited by minimole23 on 25th Apr, On 7th Oct, 5haneJ said: yeah I gave it all a good prodding.

The reason I asked is because i floored my out a junction the other day and and hit 50 in second at rpm and thought I wish i had more revs, which isn't really that feesable on a without great expense. I wouldent say that Most of the bits are pretty strong. I'd happily take a std rebuilt bottom end to 7k if i was going to use 7.

Your going to wind me up over Candice's build taking hugely longer than it should have so all is equal
