The bacteria was not found in the finished products. Listeria monocytogenes can cause diarrhea, stomach pain, high fever or headaches. It can also cause a serious infection in young children, elderly adults or anyone with a weakened immune system and miscarriage or stillbirth in pregnant women. Check the brand name, product name, size and UPC code to see if your hummus is part of the recall.
